Browning the butter creates rich caramel notes that pair beautifully with the subtle complexity of long-fermented dough. Soft in the center with lightly crisp edges and generous pieces of chocolate throughout.

Our sweet bakes begin long before they reach the oven. I make my own vanilla paste and extract from whole beans, and use organic eggs from our backyard hens — different breeds, different shell colors, all gathered fresh. It’s the little things that make them special.
